Silicone-based lubes last longer than water-based lubricants and do not need to be reapplied as often. Silicone lubes produce the best overall most slippery results, while remaining the safest for the body. Silicone is ideal for in-the water-sex and anal play. Silicone-based lubricants are not recommended for use with silicone sex toys because the formula may dissolve the surface making it sticky to the touch, and cause disintegration of the item over time.
